Question about business?
I heard about an opportunity to do business by selling CDs online, which interests me. There will be a professionally designed online shop. What’s involved in starting up a small franchise like this?
Another thing I’m not keen on is including my details online. It seems to me that, because my surname is Gay, I might get nuisance calls/emails from people saying inappropriate things. Would I be allowed to run my business using a different surname, or would that complicate things? It makes me think of Eminem whose real name is Marshall Mathers, but the public know him as Eminem.
Any advice appreciated.
If you want to sell CDs online then why not create an account on eBay and market them there? You could also market yourself on twitter and facebook as selling CDs, listing interesting or hard to get CDs that would sell better and be sought after, rather than the hum drum which anyone can get anywhere. Harder to locate items are best and command the best prices. Don’t be fooled by any franchise business selling CDs as the market is flooded with them, besides which CDs are obsolete and majority of people are turning to digital downloads now instead.
